Isiah Chapter 6
1.The first thing we see in this chapter is Isaiah's King has died. For any of us to be useful to and to serve God, our kings must die. We must be free of all idols and other things we have placed before
God.
2.Isaiah saw the glory of God. You must see and know the glory of God. Not from a book,
a class, someone on youtube. You must be
in His presence and feel God's glory. You
will know when you have been in the presence
of God because your attitude about sin will
change. The sin that has been in your life.
Some encounters with God often produce joy
and laughter. But some encounters are
frightening. in His presence, you stand in awe
and fear. He is a Holy God.
3.You have to let God cleanse you. Isaiah
recognized he was unclean and a sinner in the presence of God. The deeper you move into
God's presence, the more you are disturbed by
your sins.
4. The Lord asks who will go. Isaiah had to
volunteer. God wants to use you, but you have to volunteer.Jesus said, "Go into the world and
make disciples." Say send me Lord. You have to volunteer.
5.The same Holy Spirit that was in Isaiah is in you. You need the power of the Holy Spirit. It is not by power or by might, but by the Holy Spirit that we make advancements for the Kingdom of God.
Say, "Holy Spirit have your way in me."
