Genesis chapter 8

Have you waited a long time in the Lord?

Does it seem as though God doesn't know you exist?

Music On/Off

We know it rained for forty days. We have heard that all our lives. The part we often forget is Noah was in the ark another 150 days. What did Noah think 50 days after the rain had stopped and he was still in the ark? What about 100 days? What about 150 days?

He lived the same as we all should live. By faith. He had to have faith that God would accomplish His purposes. Faith that God would not forget His people.

How many times have I thought that God has forgotten me?  There are times even now when I can't tell if He knows I'm alive. The long days and restless nights. Times of agony. Even after hearing the trials that saints of the past have gone through, with never a doubt that God held them and was always with them, I fail many times. It is these times that I cry out to God and ask Him for His great help. And after going through these times, I know I have grown closer to my creator.

His plans for His children are great. Even though sometimes it is tough going.

"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.  You shall call on me, and you shall go and pray to me, and I will listen to you.  You shall seek me, and find me, when you shall search for me with all your heart. "
